Have you ever gone to church and looked forward to hearing the message? Pete and our teaching team work hard to make that dream a reality. You never really know what creativity may be used this week.
It may be a movie or television clip that looks familiar, or a “Life Bridge Production” original you’ve never seen before. Perhaps the drama team will perform live or members of the audience will participate (voluntarily, of course). You may even find a table and chairs upside down! Whatever it is, there’s one thing for sure – it will probably be different from last time!
In addition to being fun and creative, the messages just make sense - since every lesson is taught straight from the Bible. In fact, you’ll probably find yourself thinking about it all week. We’ll provide you with handouts to help you follow along while you’re here and more to take home to continue the process. At Life Bridge, we’re committed to helping you grow in “love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and sincere faith.” (1Timothy 1:5, NLT)
Pete Kersker Biography Updated February 28, 2005
When Pete and Traci Kersker came to Valparaiso, IN in the summer of 2003, they looked forward to reaching out to the hurting and unconnected people of Porter County. Their three children, Becca (12), Manda (11), and Josh (8) were looking forward to lake-effect snow! The family has been able to enjoy both ever since.
Pete’s career has taken him from Computer Hardware, Programming, Networking, and Data Management to Sales, Trade Marketing and Consulting. His employers included Cinergy, Star-Kist Foods, Inc., H. J. Heinz, and DelMonte. Realizing the call to teach (He won’t call it “preaching.”), Pete sought his education from Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary (now Cincinnati Christian University). While completing his education, Pete came in contact with the CDEA and became keenly interested in connecting new people with God's eternal message of love.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Earned Bachelor of Arts (Computer Science) and Associate of Arts (Mathematics) degrees from Thomas More College, and a Master of Ministry (Theological Studies) from Cincinnati Christian University.
